Autographs

The entire second grade got together for autographs today. We've had a fun year with our second grade friends!

Fun with Airplanes!

Yesterday, the students designed a paper airplane and then we had a grade level competition. It was so exciting to see all the deigns and watch all the competitions. Each class competed and the top 3 winners from each class had another completion to find the second grade "airplane champs".

Simple Machines-Wheel and Axle

Yesterday, we learned about a wheel and axle. First the students tried to move the load (lunch box basket) across the rug by sliding it. Then they put the load on a skateboard and moved it across the rug. They learned it is much easier to move a load with a wheel and axle.

More Field Day Fun!

Castle Ball and Orange Juice

Oh boy do they love Castle Ball. They make a castle with hula hoops and they have to guard their castle while the other team is trying to knock down their castle.

The Orange Juice game is fun too!

The students are having fun! We've been to a relay station and now we're playing crab soccer.
