Measuring in Math

The students have been measuring around our classroom. They're measuring in inches, feet, and yards. Students are expected to choose an appropriate tool. The problem solving questions are a bit tricky, but the students are working hard.

Writing about Spring Break!

The students had lots of fun over Spring Break. We had a class meeting yesterday so students could share about their break. Then the students started writing about break! Students are encouraged to add many details to their story. We talked about using time order words too. Most students have finished their stories and we will begin poetry writing tomorrow.
